"Everyone cares about Manhattan": A recurring theme?

So admist all the praise of a fast response, I've noticed a recurring theme. First I saw a report about the horrid conditions on Staten Island and just now I saw one about Coney Island. Both reports, oddly, contain many of the same phrases. Notably: "Everyone cares about Manhattan" and "FEMA isn't here".

I've been reluctant to post about Sandy, it's not good to jump to conclusions. I have to say though that the way this is looking... it's not good. Not good at all. This could be a fatal blow to the U.S.

Now, I'm not one to go out into the further reaches of conspiracy theory. However, I came across an interview and I just want to throw it out there and see what everyone thinks. What is said in this interview? Well around the 8:10 mark, the interviewee who claims to be a part of the National Guard says "a few weeks ago we were told to prepare for civil unrest before, during, and after the election". Does this interview imply foreknowledge of some sort? You can find it here.

Storm Sandy: Anger as fuel shortages hamper recovery

I know the interview is Alex Jones, and I don't like to source his videos - however in this case I am making an exception as the timing and words spoken can not be denied. I don't know what to make of it, but it's some coincidence, isn't it?
